Hi,
Thanks for writing with your concern. I see that you have purchased a MyStandard choral folder and some extra cords to go with. Yes! They can definitely be added to the folder for extra music. There should be six elastic loops in the package of extras, so just grab one and put one end of the loop over one of the little metal "fingers" at the top, and then hook the other end of the elastic loop over the corresponding "finger" at the bottom of the aluminum hinge.
Once you see how it's done, it will seem obvious. It is so much easier than the kind of elastics that are one long string that you have to weave up and down.

Extra CORDS for all the MyMusicFolders' performance folders are like long ponytail elastics. You basically "stack" the new cords over the initial set of cords included in your folder. Using the fingers in the spine, slip one end of the loop over a top finger, and stretch it to loop the bottom of the loop over the corresponding bottom finger of the hinge in the spine of the folder. There is no need to loop them around the outside of the folder in anyway. Thanks for asking!
