The OCTAVO holders have a slit at one edge to pass the pages of smaller, published single pieces of choral music such as Anthems, or Octavos. Depending on the paper thickness, I have used octavo holders for pieces up to 10-12 pages.

For large works (Messiah, Requiem Masses), or BOOKLETS of music, we recommed you use your standard music folder with elastic cords:
- open the folder and remove any ring adaptor (remember where you put this for later!)
- Open your score and slide 1/4 to 1/3 of the pages under one elastic cord, slide your booklet into the spine so that the elastic cord sits along the inner edge of the pages.
- Do this throughout the booklet, 3 or 4 times.
- Using several elastics will hold your score firmly in place, yet allow for page turning.
